Dakota Business Lending (DBL) is pleased to welcome Mike Ferrell to their team as Interim VP of Business Development and Marketing. Based out of DBL’s Sioux Falls office, Mike will provide strategic leadership for the organization’s Business Development and Marketing teams while helping strengthen partnerships, expand outreach, and advance DBL’s mission of driving economic growth across their footprint of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. He will also work to help grow DBL’s Sioux Falls office.
Ferrell has spent nearly 40 years helping individuals and organizations grow as a leadership coach, business strategist, author, and speaker. He brings with him a unique perspective on leadership, relationship-building, and organizational growth, as well as a passion for helping people and companies reach their full potential. He has worked with small businesses in over 75 different industries.
In his role, Mike will focus on aligning business development and marketing strategies, strengthening relationships with lending partners and community organizations, and expanding awareness of DBL’s financing programs and business resources. He will also work closely with DBL leadership to identify new opportunities that will support the organizations’ long-term vision and the success of the entrepreneurs and the communities it serves.
Ferrell has worked with DBL in a variety of different coaching and consulting projects over the past 5 years. In his free time, Ferrell enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Anne, and their five grandchildren.
