Curiosity and a willingness to learn guide Preston’s approach. Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Preston is a senior accounting student at North Dakota State University, completing his final semester. Drawn to the analytical side of business lending, he is especially interested in understanding how financial information and credit decisions come together to support small businesses.

Preston joined Dakota Business Lending to gain hands-on experience in underwriting, credit analysis, and the loan process as a whole. With a thoughtful, detail-oriented mindset, he values learning by observing, asking questions, and building a strong foundation. Through this experience, Preston is focused on growing professionally, strengthening communication, and continuing to develop skills for a successful career in accounting and finance.
